Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the IT team to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.
  • Drive the enhancement of IT processes and infrastructure, evaluating and implementing improvements for optimal performance.
  • Advocate for strong cybersecurity measures, ensuring the protection of our IT systems and sensitive data.
  • Collaborate in the formulation and execution of both short-term and long-term IT strategies.
  • Foster and maintain productive relationships with IT vendors to guarantee adherence to service level agreements.
  • Lead and coordinate IT projects, ensuring successful and timely execution.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to both the IT team and end-users.
  • Commit to continuous improvement by staying informed on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Proficient technical knowledge in:
    • Software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, and hotel management systems.
    • Hardware encompassing servers, networking equipment, and mobile devices.
    • Cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, including SaaS and IaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, IT Service Management, and cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Qualifications

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CHTP, CompTIA A+, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is desirable.
