Key Responsibilities
- Lead school districts in a strategic planning process aimed at improving their mental health frameworks.
- Offer expert technical support and consultation regarding best practices in school mental health, suicide prevention, and social-emotional learning.
- Assess data and prepare reports to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with district leaders and stakeholders.
- Keep updated on cutting-edge research and validated practices in school mental health.
- Design and deliver informative presentations and training sessions for school staff and community members.
- Assist in the creation of new resources and materials to bolster mental health initiatives in schools.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge of school mental health, suicide prevention strategies, and social-emotional learning principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting data to derive insightful conclusions.
- Willingness to travel within the Mountain West region and to the national office periodically.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience within PK-12 education systems, specifically in the Mountain West region.
- Demonstrated expertise in program development, execution, and assessment.
