Key Responsibilities

  • Lead school districts in a strategic planning process aimed at improving their mental health frameworks.
  • Offer expert technical support and consultation regarding best practices in school mental health, suicide prevention, and social-emotional learning.
  • Assess data and prepare reports to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with district leaders and stakeholders.
  • Keep updated on cutting-edge research and validated practices in school mental health.
  • Design and deliver informative presentations and training sessions for school staff and community members.
  • Assist in the creation of new resources and materials to bolster mental health initiatives in schools.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience within PK-12 education systems, specifically in the Mountain West region.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program development, execution, and assessment.
