Job Summary
- The Investment Consultant is responsible for developing customized investment strategies based on clients’ financial goals and risk profiles. This role supports sales teams in portfolio management by providing investment strategy expertise, using market research and data analysis, and assisting in meetings. Additionally, the role involves staying current on investment products, ensuring compliance, managing risks through due diligence, and conducting market research to aid clients in making informed investment decisions.
How will you contribute?
- Investment Strategy Development: Create and implement customized investment strategies that align with clients’ financial objectives and risk profiles. Analyze financial data, market trends, and economic forecasts to recommend appropriate asset allocation, portfolio diversification, and investment products. Continuously monitor and adjust investment portfolios to maximize returns while managing risk.
- Support to Sales Teams: Partner with sales teams to support client acquisition and portfolio allocation efforts and provide expertise on investment products and strategies. Develop sales materials and presentations to help the sales team communicate value propositions to clients. Participate in client meetings with sales team members to provide in-depth product knowledge and assist in closing deals.
- Product Knowledge and Expertise: Stay up-to-date with a wide range of investment products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and structured products. Provide clients and sales teams with insights into different investment options, including market trends, performance metrics, and potential risks.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all investment advice comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards. Conduct due diligence on investment products to mitigate risks and ensure suitability for clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct research on financial markets, economic trends, and geopolitical events to support investment decisions. Prepare and present detailed reports and investment proposals to clients and sales teams.
What will make you successful?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of financial products, markets, and investment strategies.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in investment advisory, wealth management, or private banking
