Jobs Description

You will be part of the finance team based in Singapore and report to Associate Finance Director. As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the monthly reporting under US GAAP and local statutory reporting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with KL Shared Service Centre for month end closing activities and prepare monthly reporting package
  • Engage with KL Shared Service Centre to manage payment process, travel and expenses to ensure queries raised by internal customers and vendors are resolved in timely basis
  • Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
  • Support FP&A team on monthly forecast, actual vs budget review and ad-hoc request from regional team
  • Use aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.
  • Support in liaising with statutory auditors, tax agents and other external parties. Prepare draft financial statements and support ad-hoc financial review with regional team
  • Prepare quarterly GST filing and responsible for quarterly compliance reporting
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation preparation and analysis
  • Support in SOX and internal process improvement projects
  • Other administrative activities

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 3 years working experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Advanced Excel skills, PeopleSoft experience would be an advantage
  • Strong accounting and reporting knowledge
  • Time management and deadline/outcome focused
  • Customer driven, an excellent communicator and a team player
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-tasking
  • Wiling to work in demanding dynamic environment
