QA Analyst for Farm is the in-line quality control inspector of various inbound, in-process and outbound Honest Farms’ products
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs quality control inspection of various inbound, in process and outbound Honest Farm products, includes but not limited to fresh produce, table eggs, frozen meat and seafoods and special products.
- Maintains “floor presence” as inspector of quality throughout the processing facility.
- Makes decision concerning product quality including stopping operation when processes do not conform to specifications.
- Records inspection results by completing reports, summarizing information and trends on issues that impacts food safety and product quality.
- Monitors implementation of quality assurance programs at pre, during and post-production. Ensures maintenance and sanitation of the facility is in compliance with food safety requirements.
- Assists in investigating product complaints.
- Assists in monitoring closure of findings on food safety and quality.
- Assists in monitoring and updating existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, procedures and document control programs.
- Assists in R&D projects by conducting basic physico-chem analysis and sensory evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Agriculture
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience in quality control and assurance in food manufacturing.
- Required skills: Food Safety and HACCP principles, Product Specification Conformance and Investigation, Physico-chemical Analysis, Sensory Evaluation, Product Traceability
- Knowledge on Organic Agriculture is an advantage.
- Detail oriented and able to follow through on tasks. Able to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Quick learner and forward thinker.
