Job Description

The Operations Supervisor at our Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) provides the opportunity to lead and develop associates in a dynamic, quality-focused production environment. One of Southeast Toyota’s unique selling propositions is that we customize vehicles with the accessories that our dealers want. You will be leading one of the teams responsible for delivering on this selling proposition. Your goals will focus on safety, associate development, meeting customer expectations, driving efficiency, and ensuring dealer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, and possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Responsible for preparing documentation on associates and projects
  • Basic knowledge of Hoshin to support the company’s goals in a collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Previous or current Kaizen leadership/experience; demonstrated mindset to challenge the status quo and drive innovation
  • Ability to work effectively as a collaborator – willing and able to work with other department supervisors and management as needed
  • Strong, positive, interpersonal skills, with demonstrated comfort in addressing situations as needed effectively and appropriately supporting the company culture, while maintaining confidence as required
  • Strong demonstrated analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities to address day-to-day opportunities as well as long term issues. Must be able to focus on details as well as relate to the overall goal, strategy, and or initiatives.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to handle multiple priorities in a changing work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word & Excel) with demonstrated comfort level required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced production/processing environment a plus
