We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join the Banana Tree marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, including reels, and providing both online and offline marketing support to drive the success of local and national marketing campaigns.
As the Social Media Executive, you will take ownership of brand social media management and community engagement, ensuring our online presence reflects our brand. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the wider marketing team to deliver campaigns on time and within budget, including tasks such as print and point-of-sale (POS) material management.
Key Deliverables Would Be
Delivery to plan:
- Lead on deploying via own digital channels – organic social posts, content generation and management of local social media coordinators, user generated content and create industry leading visual content and agency management
- Supporting the marketing manager with tactical campaigns from concept to delivery.
- Work on a local level to help drive maximum asset value out of sites.
- Work with all internal stakeholders to ensure clear processes in place to aid delivery of all plans on time and to budget
- Work with the head of digital and marketing manager to ensure consistency through all channels and to track the performance of on and offline campaigns. To include setting up campaigns on our voucher manager, briefing epos and making sure all digital platforms have consistent and accurate information.
Insight and Analysis
- Monitor our competitors and provide updates on activities
- Monitor, respond and engage with online social media comments
- Review all localised activity to ensure adding value.
- Manage budgets and ROIs effectively
Marketing Planning
- Ensure sites are clearly briefed on POS, online requirements and marketing guides every month
- Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
- Work cohesively with all internal and external stakeholders
- To be agile and adaptable to deploy marketing and sales support at pace to react to different trading conditions.
- Manage a roster of best-in-class agency resources
- Be the ‘go to’ person for the managers around marketing questions
To be successful in this role, you would need to be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
- Clear focus and understanding of social media management
- Understanding the basics of brand positioning & the importance of consistent focus on adding value
- Expertise in all facets of marketing, from a planning & execution point of view.
- Commercial acumen
- Experience in identifying and creating best ways to communicate, internally AND externally
- Experience of generating & prioritising ideas, briefing agencies and assessing feasibility. Delivering launch plans.
- Be able to evaluate creative ideas and executions submitted by third parties.
