Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Sports Strategic Marketing Manager to join our team located in Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Garden FL, or West Chester, PA.
The Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) Team in Sports is responsible for leading the strategic marketing functions for Sports soft tissue platform globally. This includes defining product strategies, working with internal and external partners to execute on strategies, understanding market trends and customer needs and working with regional partners to launch products.
Specifically, this role will primarily be focused on defining strategy for and executing on our knee and foot and ankle soft tissue repair portfolios. The candidate needs to have a foundation to engage customers, to better understand needs and trends, and work with cross-functional partners, to execute on strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining product strategy for knee and foot and ankle soft tissue repair portfolio including analyzing and understanding the market opportunities that exist in key prioritized areas
- Coordinate and present to business partners and leadership to ensure strategic alignment and execution
- Lead development efforts with both internal and external partners for knee and foot and ankle soft tissue projects and initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with all business partners with strong fluency and engagement across Research & Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance and our salesforce
- Conduct Voice of the Customer (VOC) sessions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to execute on key initiatives and identify insights and emerging trends
- Effectively engage with global commercial partners with product and market expertise to assist in launching new products in regional markets
- Identify licensing and acquisition opportunities around knee and foot and ankle soft tissue repair
- Build strong relationships between marketing and global KOLs
- Create excitement and engagement around J&J MedTech Sports knee and foot and ankle portfolio, both internally and externally
Qualifications:
- College BS/BA required, MBA preferred and 5+ years total business experience in any of the following areas:??Marketing, Medical Device Product Development R&D, Medical Device Sales, or a combination of sales and Marketing is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device or another healthcare regulated industry is required
- Must have experience in developing and/or launching new products
- Must have experience interacting with key customers and sales organizations?
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required??
- Must have ability to work in a hands on, fast paced, customer focused environment
- Position requires approximately 20% travel including weekends.?
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $172,500.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

- Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
