What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support business initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Analyze workforce turnover rates to identify attrition causes and propose retention strategies
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations concerns, including harassment and discrimination claims
  • Advise on corrective actions to ensure fair and consistent resolutions in line with company policies and values
  • Develop and improve HR policies and procedures related to employee relations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, including complex issue resolution
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA)
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing employee relations strategies and policies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in sensitive situations

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in hospice or palliative care
  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant HR certifications
  • Multi-state Human Resources experience, including California
