ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Qatar. As an integral part of our Information Technology and Services department, you will provide technical support and assistance to our clients and internal teams. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for professionals and job starters who are passionate about technology and customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems for end-users in the contact center.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT support or administrators.
  • Maintain logs of user queries and solutions in a help desk ticketing system.
  • Provide training and guidance to contact center staff on IT tools and systems.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support.
  • Familiarity with help desk software and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or any ITSM tools.
  • Work in a shift-based model to provide 24/7 support for contact center voice operations.
