Operator

Primary Purpose

The Operator is responsible for operating cranes and other equipment on the jobsite.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift and move material and objects

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and respond to hand signals
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Experience with interpreting and understanding crane capacity charts and operating manuals
• Strong visual acuity and depth perception; must possess visual and auditory capability to understand instruction sin high noise areas and be able to safely direct and control work efforts

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, stoop and/or sit
• Work will frequently require individuals to push, pull, bend or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift or carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies and parts up to 50 lbs. unassisted
