Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will provide excellent customer service, handle monetary transactions efficiently, and contribute to a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, and eager to assist customers in their shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and answer any questions about products or services.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions and issue receipts.
- Bag, box, or package customer purchases appropriately.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts and ensure balances align.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and replenishing inventory when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
