Job Description
KeyResponsibilities:
Provide expert-level support to clients’ accounting staff, answering complex accounting and financial questions.
Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports for clients, including monthly statements and customized reporting packages.
Prepare year-end accrual adjustments and ensure accurate and timely financial close processes.
Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with company policies and improve efficiency.
Guide payroll processes, including reporting, compliance, and integration with accounting systems.
Regularly interact with clients through remote engagements, building strong professional relationships.
Gather and organize documentation to complete monthly reconciliations.
Collaborate with senior consultants to analyze existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements.
Assist in preparing accurate and complete financial statements for review by senior consultants.
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with expertise in payroll systems, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Knowledge of GAAP principles is preferred.
CPA Or MBA Preferred But Not Required.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting processes clearly to clients.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
