As a Senior HR Generalist at FMH, you will execute a wide range of HR functions including compensation management, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and other HR-related projects and functions. The qualified candidate will closely with HR leadership to align HR practices with organizations goals.

Requirements
- Experience: At least 7 or more years progressive HR industry work experience. PHR of SHRM-CP designation required, or must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices. Good organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with ADP, Cornerstone, or similar HRIS systems a plus.
Responsibilities
- Executes compensation tasks as the Cornerstone Administrator. Builds, tests and deploys year end compensation tasks and helps manage mid-year/year end promotion tasks.
- Builds, tests, deploys, and ensures readiness of performance tasks within the Performance Management system to meet bi-annual and year-end review timelines for all full-time and part-time employees.
- Monitors and tracks task performance, addresses issues, and makes improvements to support effective and efficient performance management processes.
- Conducts comprehensive job evaluations to assess role responsibilities, qualifications, and value within FMH. Develops and maintains competitive job pricing strategies aligned with industry benchmarks and internal equity.
- Manages the implementation and communication of compensation changes, ensuring transparency, alignment with organizational goals, and compliance with regulations. Facilitates the smooth transition of compensation adjustments during organizational changes or market fluctuations.
- Develops and delivers training for managers to enhance their understanding of compensation philosophy, pay structures, and equitable compensation practices. Guides managers in making informed compensation-related decisions within their teams.
- Provides direction on employee relations issues, concerns, and grievances. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations and ensures proper resolution. Coaches and counsels employees and managers on performance issues and ensures proper documentation.
- Identifies training and development needs across the organization. Coordinates training sessions by working with vendors, organizing and hosting lunch and learns, facilitating DiSC and leadership training, and other development opportunities.
