Job Description

Pay Range: $20.23 – $31.36

The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.

Summary: This position reviews patient account claims for accuracy and completion prior to submission. Monitors outstanding accounts, processes late charges and refunds. Responds to inquiries.

  • 3 years experience with medical billing preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare business office or Physicians office preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making. Detail attentiveness required. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self- direct
  • Ability to empathize and establish positive rapport with customers recognizing the importance of maintaining a positive customer service relationship with internal customers, external customers, patients, residents, family members, insurance providers, etc.
  • Proficiency with computers required.
  • High school Level of knowledge required.
