Roel Summary

The Sales Distribution Manager will oversee and optimize the distribution network, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products. This role is critical in managing relationships with distributors, monitoring supply chain efficiency, aligning internal departments to achieving sales targets In-market and To-market. The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning with hands-on management to drive business growth and to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the distribution network to ensure the timely delivery of pharmaceutical products across assigned territories.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts or overstocks at distribution points.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards for pharmaceutical distribution.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve distribution-related sales targets
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to achieve distribution-related sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the regulatory team to achieve distribution-up to speed standard.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to financial objectives
  • Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
  • Handle deals with the big chain pharmacies and provides reports on the stock reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline distribution processes, including transportation and warehousing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of stock levels and product availability to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all distribution activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and distribution activities. Manage distribution budgets, controlling costs while maximizing efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or relevant degree
  • At least 8:10 years of experience in sales and 3-5 years in managerial role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects and activities with stringent timelines is required.
  • Communication skills – Excellent English and local language communication skills (oral and written) and demonstrated ability to effectively share information and any proposals with management, peers, and others.
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving and interpersonal skills through effective interactions with team members.
  • Conflict management and resolution skills – Build consensus, anticipate and solve problems.
