Airport Development Group (ADG) owns and manages diverse infrastructure assets across the Northern Territory including airports, hotels, aviation, and commercial buildings. Investing, developing, and managing long term infrastructure to grow the Territory and Northern Australia.

We’re seeking a suitably qualified Project Manager to oversee a range of infrastructure, construction, and operational projects across in the Northern Territory. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of capital works projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • The development and delivery of allocated capital works projects, working within the approved Capital Framework
  • Ensuring projects are delivered according to the Capex Delivery Framework and meet stakeholder and regulatory requirements (e.g. ABC/AEO)
  • Assisting Operations, Property and Commercial Development Managers in delivering projects within defined objectives
  • Managing projects in line with related business, operational and safety procedures
  • Developing tender and contract documentation
  • Managing design and engineering consultants to develop cost-effective and operationally sound designs
  • Maintaining thorough project documentation including drawings, contracts and correspondence
  • Providing timely project reports to management
  • Forecasting budgets and providing inputs for the Budget Justification process
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing contracted works administration per the Capital Projects Framework
  • Ensuring contractor compliance with induction, airside and security clearance processes
  • Managing procurement of consultant and contractor services
  • Developing Project Management plans
  • Forecasting cash flows and monitoring expenditure
  • Managing project budgets, raise Purchase Requisitions for approval to allow Purchase Orders to be issued.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Construction Management and demonstrated experience of managing projects $10M+ from design through to completion.
  • Experience managing multi-trade contractors and consultants in delivering Civil and Building infrastructure.
  • High level oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt proprietary project delivery, financial reporting, and asset management software.
  • Eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card and pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
  • Eligible to become a Member of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management.
  • Current NT drivers’ licence
  • Eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card and pass an Australian Federal Police Check.

  • Experience in development infrastructure projects.
  • Experience delivering projects within the aviation sector
