A Day In The Life
As the Director of Marketing & Marcomms, your role is multifaceted encompassing:
- Strategic Business Development
- Spearhead strategic business initiatives, identify and pursue regional opportunities through effective telemarketing strategies, presentations at events, and on-site marketing efforts.
- Network for new accounts and analyse KPI reports to track progress and refine strategies for sustained growth.
- Marketing Strategy and Implementation
- Formulate strategies aligned with company objectives and overseeing their execution across various channels.
- Drive digital media efforts to boost brand visibility and lead generation, and ensure timely communication activities and refining tactics for optimal ROI.
- Maintain a robust CRM system to nurture client relationships and foster retention.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the Marketing and Marcomms teams.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure team members’ professional development and monitor workload for productivity.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance skills, ensuring the welfare and retention of junior staff.
Managing marketing activities across regional markets and coordinating with other business units for seamless leads development underscore your role’s breadth and significance in driving the company’s success.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within the MICE or advertising industry, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Extroverted personality with strong networking abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively communicate in multiple languages, including English and Chinese.
- Experience in digital marketing and proficiency in leveraging social media platforms for business objectives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
- Willingness to travel overseas as required.
