Description
As Management Accounting Manager, you will join our dynamic Finance team to produce Management Accounts for our Progeny Wealth department, our largest trading entity, and the group consolidation. By producing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports, you will play an integral role in the Group finance team responsible for providing financial information internally to our management team and Board, and externally to our regulators.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management reporting and Group consolidation.
· Monitoring prepayments, accruals, key balance sheet reconciliations and Group Management recharges to produce accurate reporting data.
· Producing VAT returns.
· Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends and variances to produce reports.
· Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
· Collaborating with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Qualified Accountant with professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
· Demonstrable experience within Management Accounting or a similar role.
· Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
· Previous experience in account reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
· Excellent understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
