The Opportunity

Vedanta is looking for a passionate and experienced brand marketer to shape and lead the Vedanta 2.0’s story, driving brand growth, enhancing brand equity, and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that unify various strategic communication pillars into one strong cohesive and compelling story that resonates with our target audience groups for desired brand positioning, shaping positive perception and driving corporate reputation.

Position Vedanta as the go-to partner for the energy transition, driving growth in renewable energy, electric vehicles, and digital infrastructure, particularly in regions and sectors where the demand for critical minerals and renewable energy solutions is growing.

Highlight stakeholder value creation showcasing how each new entity can independently thrive and contribute to the broader vision.

Create Brand campaign that drive desired brand perception in the spheres of critical minerals, ESG leadership, D&I, social impact, contribution to nation building, etc.

Elevate Vedanta’s visibility, fostering pride of association amongst stakeholders at national and state levels

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Define and implement brand strategy aligned with brand objectives
  • Define brand architecture and governance across business units
  • Create a sharp and well-defined brand positioning to guide brand presence across mediums, channels and regions
  • Anchor brand presence at key industry forums and trade events for unparalleled brand experience
  • Ensure consistency of brand expression across key markets
  • Develop high-end brand collaterals for stakeholders
  • Establish brand measurement framework for continuous monitoring of brand health
  • Manage creative and media buying agencies and brand partnerships
  • Optimize brand budget allocation and resource utilization for maximising ROI

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Business, or related fields
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of work experience in a brand and marketing role. Experience in executing digital media campaigns is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of change management
  • Ability to handle multiple agencies simultaneously
  • Should be adept at B2B marketing frameworks and methodologies, digital transformation expertise, data analytics and ROI measurement, industry compliance and regulations, brand valuation and metrics
  • Adaptability (capable of direct co-ordination and expectation management with leadership)
  • Highly organized and impeccable attention to detail, strong analytical skills and abilities
  • Ability to synthesize information and give insightful recommendations
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on desired outcomes
