Overview
We are reimagining and rebuilding the future of People Operations at Leap and are seeking a Global People Operations Generalist who thrives in and holds a passion for globally distributed remote environments, to help us level up! You will carry out and enhance our HR operations and support our People Ops strategic initiatives, while navigating the complexities of our global and multi-entity infrastructure. Bringing a proactive approach of engagement and growth for the employee experience and culture. This role combines hands-on HR responsibilities with strategic contributions to ensure effective, compliant, people centric practices and processes. You’ll oversee day to day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance and support strategic people operations programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Experience: First Point of contact for employees “Leapsters” globally, providing comprehensive support across all People Operations functions, with a focus on Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Employee Experience, Immigration, HR Operations, and People Programs. Providing support through establishing true partnerships of trust.
- HR Operations: Oversee payroll & benefits administration and general G&A operations, across all countries, including our U.S. Entity, Netherlands Entity and EOR.
- People Program Management: Assist in executing company-wide programs such as but not limited to, Learning & Development, performance cycles, and engagement surveys.
- Recruiting: Manage the full cycle recruiting process including interviewing, onboarding and talent acquisition partner support to hiring managers and teams.
- Process Optimization: Own HR systems, processes, and standards to streamline operations, enhance the employee experience and ensure optimal operating and platform utilization.
- Engagement: Support and drive People Operations led engagement initiatives, including team activities, recognition programs, off site planning and other related efforts to cultivate an engaging culture.
- People Analytics: Build HR Reporting and analyze HR metrics and provide insight to drive data informed decision making; with the opportunity down the road to design a People Ops Dashboard!
- Generalist Support: Lead and or contribute to projects that build and scale our People Operations infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, enhance engagement and culture, and drive a globally unified organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-4 years of HR experience, preferably at a startup in a global and/or in distributed teams environment.
- Proficiency in People Operations related systems (i.e. HRIS & ATS), & Google Workspace, a preference for familiarity with Rippling & Lattice.
- Knowledge of international labors laws, compliance and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones and build strong relationships across diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail as we are responsible and handle critical and confidential information.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to drive continuous improvement.
- Located within an EST or CST time zone with preference for EST, as we have Leapsters in Europe!
