We Have Two Opportunities Available For The Following Markets

  • North Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan)
  • Americas (North America, Latin America)

Reporting to the Director, International Markets, your purpose is to use your international business knowledge and expertise to manage a portfolio of markets and, work closely with the respective Commissioner/s overseas to undertake specific activities and initiatives to achieve trade and investment outcomes. You will have the opportunity to engage with external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and to collaborate on projects.

Based In Brisbane, Here’s What Your Role Will Involve

  • Influence TIQ’s strategic direction and priorities by tracking and communicating market trends, and by the provision of effective market intelligence,
  • Provide authoritative, professional and timely advice, reports and briefings on all aspects of allocated market(s) to the Director International Markets, and senior officers across TIQ.
  • Lead and manage significant projects and multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver international business outcomes.
  • Provide current, timely and detailed market advice and insights based on high level and high-quality market research and analysis.
  • Lead the engagement with key international stakeholders including government organisations, investors, buyers, business councils/chambers and consular corps.
  • Provide tailored market intelligence and advice that supports clients to make informed trade and investment decisions and achieve outcomes.
  • Deliver clear impactful and succinct written and verbal briefings to internal and external stakeholders, primarily Ministers, the TIQ Board and senior management, key stakeholders and clients.
