Reporting to theDirector International Operations, in the Directorate team, you will manage coordination of major significant projects, reporting processes and policy initiatives, on behalf of the Director and General Manager. You will also provide strategic and operational oversight of tasks and advisory support, lead and manage business activities relevant to the team and provide high-level co-ordination of correspondence for the General Manager.
Based In Brisbane, Here’s What Your Role Will Involve
- Provide written and verbal advice and communications on strategy and reporting activities to high-level stakeholders including Ministers, the TIQ Board and TIQ senior management.
- Contribute to the management of business activities for the International Operations unit in accordance with relevant practices including managing efficient business systems and processes.
- Manage, plan, co-ordinate and/or monitor major significant projects, reporting processes and policy initiatives on behalf of the General Manager.
- Manage submissions, briefing notes, reports and correspondence on complex policy issues, corporate matters, key business priorities and operational issues for the TIQ senior management, TIQ Board, Minister and other key public and private sector stakeholders.
- Represent TIQ at stakeholder meetings as required, and apply high-level negotiating and influencing skills to gain consensus and support from people with differing views.
- Establish and maintain effective strategies, protocols, stakeholder negotiation and liaison activities across and other private and public sector organisations.
- Collaborate and build trusted relationships across TIQ, local, and international stakeholders to develop whole of government perspectives on international engagement opportunities.
