An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Clinical Governance Facilitator post within the Clinical Governance department.

The role will be to provide Clinical Governance support to the Acute Care Directorate within the Trust. You will provide advice and support to the Clinical Director and the Clinical Governance committee regarding all elements of clinical governance.

This includes the analysis and synthesis of information from a variety of sources to prepare reports, papers, and information to support clinicians and the clinical governance committee in their work.

This is also an exciting opportunity to get involved in the NICE and clinical audit pathways within the NHS, as well as an insight into how service areas are clinically governed on a daily basis, and support teams with their risk management. The candidate would need to demonstrate that they uphold the Trust values of being compassionate, inclusive and committed.

You will be expected to manage your own workload and work with a variety of people. The majority of the role will be conducted through home-working. However, it will also involve regular travelling across Birmingham and Solihull for meetings.

Although previous NHS experience is not essential we are looking for someone with one of the following; a degree (or equivalent), and/or clinical governance experience. If you can provide the enthusiasm and are prepared to work hard then we will support you to develop into the role.
