OB Tech – Family Birthplace

Our Family Birthplace is looking for a OB Tech! Come join our team!

This is a full-time, evening/night position with rotating weekends – (3pm – 3am)

Evening, Night and Weekend Differentials!

Position Summary

• Assists in the nursing care of patients in the Family Birthplace.
• Assists in managing supplies and equipment in the unit with emphasis on cost effectiveness assuring that all outdated supplies are removed and replaced.
• Functions as a member of the sterile team in FBP OR by assisting surgical team as needed by creating and maintaining a sterile field and handing instruments to physicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Completion of VVH Scrub Orientation within designated time frame.
• Register with Colorado DORA as a Surgical Tech (ST) prior to start date.
• BLS through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• Previous experience as an OB Tech preferred.
