Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, mid-level Senior Executive Purchase to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of experience in procurement ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. This full-time position will be based in one of our locations: Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Patan, Abu, or Rajkot. Key responsibilities will include managing the procurement process, developing vendor relationships, and ensuring effective supply chain management.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, procurement, and pharmaceutical sector (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong supply chain management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes.
  • Efficient vendor management to maintain and develop beneficial supplier relationships.
  • Robust inventory management skills for accurate tracking and replenishment of stock.
  • Experience in contract management to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in market research to identify new suppliers and assess market conditions.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills to support procurement decisions.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from supplier identification to contract negotiation and order placement.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify new supply sources.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and service conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production and quality control to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Regularly review and update procurement policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
