Job Description
The number of SaaS contracts and accounts has increased so much that it has become necessary to manage the permissions of each account individually on every dashboard. The more the number of employees increases, the more difficult it becomes to manage them. The number of subsidiaries continues to increase, and each subsidiary has its own IAM (Identity Access Manager, GWS, Azure AD), making it impossible to manage the entire HQ. JOSYS enables HQ to centrally manage and administer disparate IAMs, SaaS, MDM, and SSOs that are contracted by multiple subsidiaries.
The Role
Responsibilities
As an Engineering Leader in Vietnam, you will play a key role in driving innovation, improving product architecture, efficiently and cost-effectively, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be responsible for:
- Driving innovation within the engineering team, translating product roadmaps into clear development priorities, architectures, and timely release plans to drive business growth
- Creating a culture of innovation that enables the continued growth of individuals and the company
- Working closely with Product and Business teams to build winning solutions
- Driving talent management, including hiring, developing, and retaining a world-class team
- Driving decision-making of services-based software architecture and design, to enable the evolution and enhancement of our unified software SaaS platform.
- Leading a team in building high-performing and scalable SaaS product features and functionality
- Overseeing software design and code reviews to maintain code quality and follow engineering best practices
- DevOps practice development on promoting automation, including asset creation, enterprise strategy definition, and training teams
- Developing and building microservices leveraging cloud technologies.
- Working on application security aspects
Ideal Profile
- You possess a degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field, reflecting a solid educational foundation and technical expertise.
- You have over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, including more than 5 years of managing teams of 15 or more engineers and at least 3 years of specialization in SaaS-related products.
- You are a hands-on leader who leverages your technical expertise to solve complex challenges, drive excellence, and actively train, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams.
- You have strong proficiency in the MERN stack, with extensive hands-on expertise in Node.js, as well as deep experience working with TypeScript and JavaScript, specifically in building and scaling complex SaaS or software products.
- You have proven knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, with the ability to train and empower teams to adopt these methodologies effectively.
- You are someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates effectively with geographically distributed teams, and demonstrates a global mindset with work or educational experience outside of Vietnam.
- You have successfully reported remotely and collaborated seamlessly with virtual teams across multiple time zones and global locations.
- You possess experience in building and leading engineering teams in Vietnam, with a focus on optimizing the performance and scalability of products.
- You possess cultural awareness and agility, enabling you to adapt and align quickly within dynamic, high-growth startup environments.
