- Hands-on experience with Tableau visualization tool and working experience as a Tableau server administrator.
Description
We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our corporate reporting team. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, create corporate reports, develop business intelligence solutions, and manage our SSRS server and Tableau BI platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and development teams to analyze and resolve data and process issues.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for enhanced performance.
- Develop and maintain reports across the entire business, and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and collect data from various sources, and develop Tableau BI dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- As a Tableau Site Administrator, the duties include: software upgrades, creating and managing users and groups, setting up permissions, promoting and certifying content, and measuring the use of analytics within the company’s site.
- Asana SSRS Server Administrator, the duties include: setup infrastructure for the report development environment, creating and managing roles, users, and permissions, managing content in the report server, publishing reports, and maintaining job scheduling.
- Work with high-level leaders to develop logical data models (LDM) and physical data models (PDM) supporting operational databases, Data Warehouses, and BI applications.
- Monitor day-to-day batch jobs, communicate and troubleshoot issues related to data integrity, database design, and software tools.
- Draft and maintain job flows, data flows, and design documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks independently without supervision. Demonstrates strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Relational Database Design and Data Warehousing methodologies and best practices.
- Be able to interact with stakeholders not limited to IT to ensure an accurate and comprehensive understanding of business requirements and transform them into effective visualizations and analytical solutions.
- Work experience across all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Proficient in eliciting and documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Exposure to data integration solutions and ETL processes in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $53.00
