Job Description
The Courts and Tribunals Digitisation Program (CTDP) are responsible for delivering a program of ICT projects in line with the DJAG ICT Strategy 2021-2026. Queensland Courts rely heavily upon technology to deliver existing services and plan to use technology to further drive strategic change in the way that services are delivered to the community. The outcome of these projects will streamline workflows, make better use of limited human resources, improve client experience, and enable the future move to a digitised and paper lite court and tribunal system. ?
As part of the Strategy and Transformation team the role of the Enterprise Architect will be to work closely with CAT Program and Project streams particularly those within CTDP to design scalable integrated, fit-for purpose solutions within the department’s Microsoft ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Architectural Strategy and Design: Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural blueprint that aligns with both the DJAG ICT Strategy 2021-2026 and modern architectural practices.
- Integration of New and Existing Technologies: Integrate new digital solutions with existing judicial and administrative systems to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Cloud Architecture and Management: Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, ensuring that the architecture supports scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Data Governance and Security: Establish and oversee a robust data governance framework that ensures the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of judicial data.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and expertise in architectural discussions, decision-making processes, and problem-solving activities.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all architectural designs and implementations are well-documented, comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and align with industry standards and best practices.
Technical Skills, Abilities And Cultural Capability
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services, Power Apps and other cloud services. Possess a strong understanding of scalable and secure architectures, cloud-native application design, and DevOps practices.
- Effectively manage a diverse workload within established timeframes, demonstrating flexibility to adapt priorities in response to changing circumstances or emerging technological challenges.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation that is clear and precise, ensuring all stakeholders understand the architectural decisions and the functionalities of implemented solutions.
