Job Description

ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a creative, solution-oriented professional with a passion for helping learners around the world grow and thrive. This position, within our Global team, is responsible for the coordination, support and development of learning content to support our international, partner foundations by specifically creating content in the areas of fundraising, marketing, operations and leadership.

Organizes, supports and implements educational events for all regional foundation members. Supports efforts in all global alliance programs for foundations including new programs and how to engage with ALSACs education platform. Creates an environment that encourages cooperation with foundations and within the Global team to support collaboration that drives performance of assigned goals, organizational efficiency, and accomplishment of strategy. Is the secondary point of contact for educational events, programs, and materials for effectiveness, updating when necessary. Supports all event logistics and needs assessment for instructional opportunities and works alongside other, global staff to maintain consistency in quality and caliber of training materials offered via ALSAC Global Alliance.

Working close cooperation with the Education Liaison, Senior Director and Senior Advisor to support logistics and coordination for all activities. Coordinates responsibilities integral to the development and implementation of ALSAC’s global expansion. The ideal candidate is skilled at coordination, organization, has people skills and able to adapt and platforms relevant to multiple languages and cultural diversity. Also, able to support and implement transforming technical content into an engaging and interactive adult learning experience. In addition, candidates must be willing to maintain a learning mindset with a sincere desire and aptitude for growth, cultural awareness, and international standards of education.

This position will collaborate with the Senior Director of Global, subject matter experts and key stakeholders throughout ALSAC to help support and implement curriculums for different training opportunities worldwide. The position will report directly to the Senior Director of Global and works closely with the global senior leadership.

  • Requires thorough knowledge of project management, logistic, and general management methods;
  • Possesses experience in managing multiple international remote locations;
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations; understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions;
  • Understand data processing applications;
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 plus years of experience in the field of organizational development, project management, coordination, operations and/or fundraising or marketing/sales.
