Job Description
As a Client Success Manager at Progyny, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing strong relationships with our expanding portfolio of small-market employer clients. This role involves managing client accounts, providing ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for growth and upselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate relationships at multiple levels within client organizations, acting as a trusted Progyny consultant and business advisor.
- Collaboration: Build strategic partnerships with consultants, brokers, and internal partners to enhance client value and satisfaction.
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute tailored retention and growth plans for each assigned client in partnership with cross functional teams
- Negotiation and Influence: Strategically plan and influence interactions with clients, brokers, and internal team members to achieve strategic account objectives.
- Value Delivery: Ensure effective delivery of value to clients, focusing on plan performance and service outcomes.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess needs and provide updates.
- Performance Analysis: Clearly communicate the value proposition, program performance, and trend drivers to clients.
About You:
- 3-5 years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, or relationship management, specifically with small market clients with up to 1500 employees.
- You possess familiarity with the healthcare or employee benefits industry and have a proven ability to engage effectively with clients.
- You have demonstrated experience in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients, brokers, and team members, acting as a trusted advisor.
- You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- You are adept at developing and executing strategic growth and retention plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- You possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- You have a keen analytical ability, allowing you to make data-driven decisions and assess performance effectively.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities while maintaining composure under pressure.

In compliance with New York City’s Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $95,000 – $105,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.?
