Job Description
The purpose of this role is to support translating our brand and product vision into a marketing strategy that will help grow engagement, brand visibility and sales.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and socialise insight-led strategies for Boden’s key categories and propositions, working closely with the product and design teams to understand what makes Boden special, and the key categories to drive fame for.
- Create and lead on ambitious product marketing briefs for our key seasonal and monthly campaigns, supporting on the creative strategies that help bring campaigns to life whilst capitalising on key calendar moments and dates.
- Align all channels and trading teams to come together to effectively communicate our key marketing messages and ensure we are delivering a full-funnel campaign and maximising return on investment.
- Own the technical briefing process. Ensuring the input of product and channel requirements and coordinate with creative on the asset creation process.
- Collaborate with the wider brand and content team – PR, social, content – to bring campaigns to life and shape the stories, talent mix and channel approach that will resonate with new and existing customers.
- Ensure a balance of storytelling and selling assets, that and can be utilised across channel touchpoints, throughout the journey. With sufficient marketing coverage for key big buy products.
- Work closely with the channel owners and platform specialist to develop robust measurements for campaign performance.
- Take a leading role in our approach to brand partnerships which will enable us to drive business growth with adjacent partners.
- Lead on the promotions planning process, taking ownership of the calendar and providing market, trade and brand insight to planning meetings.
About You
- Proven experience driving brand fame in previous roles.
- Fashion/Retail background with interest in competitive landscape.
- An understanding of marketing channels, techniques, and tools (PPC, Email, Social, SEO, PR) and keen interest in data & insight.
- Commercial understanding to inform marketing strategies.
- Experience working across multiple markets: an understanding of the US consumer is particularly valuable.
- A digitally-native marketeer, who understands how to use multiple channels to drive business goals.
- Excellent people skills and can influence at all levels.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
