We are looking for an experienced Regional Property Manager to join our thriving Property Management team.
Basic Function:
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall performance and profitability of a portfolio of properties within a designated region. This role involves managing employee engagement with a strong focus on coaching performance, developing and implementing effective property management strategies, ensuring high resident satisfaction, and optimizing financial returns for property owners. The Regional Property Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading property management teams, collaborating with various stakeholders, and maintaining a strong understanding of the real estate market trends in the region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties within a designated region and ensure the financial performance, occupancy levels, and overall success of each property.
- Creates a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects and vendors; leads by example and ensures a proactive approach is adopted for all key customer touch points.
- Responsible for budgeting and overall financial reporting to ensure the fiscal success of the portfolio.
- Responsible for the effective maintenance operations including maintenance service requests, vacant unit quality, curb appeal, safety and alignment with Ovation policies and procedures
- Responsible for creating a positive culture for Ovation associates including training, communication and performance management.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 consecutive years of multi-site portfolio management and supervisory experience as a Regional Property Manager.
- Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Teams (advanced level preferred), and Outlook for Windows.
- Knowledge of OneSite and Yieldstar preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License, operational vehicle and valid automobile insurance. The job requires travel throughout assigned portfolio of properties on a weekly basis.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours, including being on call 24 hours in the event of emergencies.
- Must attend scheduled meetings off site.
- BA/BS degree preferred or comparable industry experience.
- Relevant industry designation (CAM, CPM, etc.) and active involvement with industry associations (NAA, IREM, etc.) a plus
- Mid-rise, affordable and mixed-use (retail) experience desired
