We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist with strong Salesforce expertise to join our team. This mid-level role is pivotal in managing and enhancing our marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless lead flow, and supporting data-driven marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce CRM—specifically in lead, contact, and account management, campaign setup, data analysis, and creating dashboards. The Marketing Operations Specialist will work closely with sales and IT to align marketing and sales data, drive efficient processes, and deliver insights that support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Administration

  • Manage day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of Salesforce as it relates to marketing functions.
  • Oversee and enhance lead scoring, lead routing, campaign tracking, and data cleanliness within Salesforce.
  • Implement and refine best practices to improve Salesforce processes and support marketing and sales objectives.

Marketing Automation

  • Leverage tools like Pardot or HubSpot to develop, execute, and optimize workflows, email campaigns, and lead nurturing programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure automation systems align with overall strategy and improve conversion rates.

BDR Tooling and NextGen AI Integration

  • Utilize BDR tools like SalesLoft or Salesforce Cadences to support lead follow-up and outreach workflows.
  • Integrate and maintain next-generation AI tools to optimize data flow, streamline lead management, and support marketing and sales analytics.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards within Salesforce to track KPIs, including pipeline generation, campaign ROI, lead conversion rates, and marketing attribution.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights to leadership, enhancing strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales and IT to ensure data integrity, optimize lead flow, and support teams with relevant data insights.
  • Facilitate seamless integration and data sharing between marketing, sales, and other departments to improve alignment and efficiency.

Process Optimization

  • Continuously evaluate and improve marketing and sales processes, implementing best practices for lead scoring, campaign attribution, and data tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of marketing operations.

Project Management

  • Lead or support critical marketing operations projects, such as CRM integrations, automation updates, and new tool implementations.
  • Maintain timelines, communicate progress, and ensure deliverables are met across all projects.

Essential Skills

  • Salesforce Expertise: Proven experience in Salesforce CRM, ideally with Salesforce certification(s) (e.g., Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, dashboard, and visualization tools to derive insights and support decision-making.
  • Marketing Automation Proficiency: Expertise in tools like Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot with Salesforce integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with sales, IT, and marketing teams.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement in tooling, processes, and data insights to drive strategic business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Beginner’s Mentality: Take a proactive approach to learning and implementing next-gen tools for AI-driven insights.

Experience

  • 2-5 Years Experience in a Marketing Operations function for a B2B company
  • Experience in Cybersecurity and/or for a services company is a plus
  • Experience in sales operations as well as marketing operations
  • Familiarity and experience working with Sales Engagement tools like SalesLoft/Outreach
  • Familiarity with additional technologies or platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or additional AI-driven marketing tools.
