Posting Details
Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
Due to the available budget allocated for this position, the hiring rate will not exceed $19.92 per hour.
Why does the job exist?
The purpose of this position is to receive, distribute and track maintenance work orders to ensure maintenance work flow is efficient and timely.
How does it get done?
- Maintain work orders and enter information into the maintenance database.
- Prepare work orders for maintenance work crews.
- Assist plant manager with planning and prioritizing work.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contracted in the course of work.
- Monitor inventory of equipment and supplies.

Experience in the following
- Inventory control
- Purchasing
- Records keeping
- Maintaining confidential records/information
- Tracking work orders
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of directly related experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
This position is designed safety sensitive. Employment is subject to pre-employment and random testing in accordance with all terms and conditions of Federal and State law, rules and regulations in relation to alcohol and/or drug testing. Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver’s License. Pre-employment background check is required and conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an adult prison environment, which includes daily contact with inmates. Willingness to work in a correctional facility, may be required to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
