Job Summary:
The Director of Podcast Strategy & Operations will play a critical role in streamlining operations, driving strategic initiatives, and optimizing publisher performance. This role focuses on enhancing internal processes, collaborating with clients on growth strategies, and ensuring the success of retained shows. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, adept at aligning teams and delivering impactful outcomes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design and execute operational strategies to improve efficiency and scalability across publisher support and ad operations.
- Partner with clients to identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and long-term strategies for success.
- Analyze key performance metrics for publishers and campaigns, identifying trends and actionable insights to improve outcomes.
- Develop processes to monitor and enhance the performance of retained shows, focusing on retention and engagement.
- Analyze campaign and operational performance, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement initiatives that promote the visibility and success of podcasts within the advertiser ecosystem.
- Manage client communications around strategic and operational deliverables, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand the publisher roster in support of business development.
Required Qualifications and Abilities:
- Proven experience in operations, strategy, or client management roles with a focus on data analytics.
- Strong expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mentality.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
