Role Overview

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in building Wavey Ice’s brand, engaging with our audience, and driving sales growth. Stationed close to the core team in Hillsborough/Belfast, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate locally and globally, ensuring Wavey Ice becomes a household name in the premium drinks market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing & Planning
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to support Wavey Ice’s growth goals locally and globally.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and audience segments.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Brand & Content Development
  • Build Wavey Ice’s brand identity, emphasising its premium, small-batch, and female-owned values.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content, from social media posts to promotional campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging.
  • Develop compelling stories around products, founders, and the brand ethos to connect with audiences.
  • Community Engagement
  • Foster strong relationships with the local community in Northern Ireland to promote brand loyalty.
  • Organise and manage in-person events such as tastings, pop-ups, and collaborations.
  • Cultivate partnerships with influencers and ambassadors to amplify brand reach.
  • Digital Marketing
  • Manage Wavey Ice’s digital presence, including social media platforms, email campaigns, and SEO strategies.
  • Analyse digital performance metrics and optimise campaigns to achieve a high return on investment (ROI).
  • Lead paid advertising efforts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Global Expansion Support
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to establish Wavey Ice in international markets.
  • Coordinate with distributors and regional partners to ensure tailored marketing strategies for target regions.
  • Identify and attend international trade shows or events to showcase the brand.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Use analytics tools to monitor marketing performance and consumer insights.
  • Adjust strategies based on data to maximise impact and achieve targets.
  • Provide regular reports to the COO on campaign performance and ROI.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the production and operations team to align marketing efforts with product launches.
  • Manage external partners, such as freelance designers and PR agencies, to scale marketing initiatives effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a marketing role, ideally within the FMCG, food & beverage, or lifestyle sectors. Experience with global marketing campaigns is a plus.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
