SCANLINE FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Job Overview

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
  • Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
  • Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
  • Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
  • Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
  • Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
  • Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
  • Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to b e determined by workload and General Manager
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
  • Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
