Job Description

LVMH Cosmetics K.K. (LCS – Shared Service Center (SSC) of LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Group) is looking for a Demand Planner for Parfums Christian Dior who will be responsible for building accurate demand forecasts on regular saleable products, promotional items and packaging materials. Being the integration point with various stakeholders, this position plays a key role in contributing to Brand’s growth by animating the forecasting processes to achieve business goals while balancing Supply chain KPIs. This position will be reporting to Demand Planning Manager, and located in Tokyo.

Job Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONIBILITIES

  • Accompany business planning
  • Lead forecast planning and development to optimize sales forecast accuracy for the catalog.
  • Monitor and ensure the adequacy between sales forecasts and Brand’s budget for saleable.
  • Monitor and ensure the adequacy between actual sales, sales forecasts for new and regular products, Marketing plan and distribution channels (counters, boutique, eCommerce, …)
  • Monitor the consumption for POSM items; coordinate corrective actions for items under deviation.
  • Control and animate the forecasting process
  • Animate the Novelties forecasting processes and meetings (propose benchmarks and recommendations based on past sales to Brand, conversion into Sell in forecasts).
  • Generate accurate basic sales forecasts trends through the forecasting tool (FutureMaster); control and adjust the impact linked to launch strategies and cannibalization. Prepare and animate monthly forecasts reviews with relevant teams to validate basic sales forecasts.
  • Control and adjust timely the products trends, especially linked to products end of life and special events. Manage seasonality and campaigns roll-out to finalize the Forecasts outputs.
  • Lead the S&OP process to align sales and forecasts, and control GAPS between forecasts and financial engagements (budget).
  • Maintain forecast systems and tools (sales figures, item and customer master data) following reviews outputs to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Develop Machine learning accuracy via regular review and inputs ; decrease change ratio against Machine learning proposal
  • Sharing and improving
  • Generate and share monthly activity reporting with Central and Local counterparts
  • Review Key Performance Indicators and lead actions for improvement
  • Ensure business continuity by formalizing the know-how and document standard of procedures pertaining to Demand planning.
  • Make recommendations and lead actions to drive business metrics
  • Play key role in forecast community to propose and conduct continuous improvement actions (tool optimization, simplified processes, reduction of administrative workload…).
  • Forecast accuracy (saleable items)

Profile

Education University graduate, in Supply Chain preferred Experience 2-4 years of relevant Demand planning experiences, preferably within the Beauty industry Marketing knowledge is a plus Required skills Strong analytical and coordination skills Strong interpersonal skills and experience in matrix environment Good knowledge of ERP system, Forecasting software and MS office Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to be able to present regularly to TOP management Self-motivated with entrepreneur spirit Team player and attracted by international/multi-cultural environment Language Proficient in English (spoken and written, TOEIC 850 equivalent) Proficient in Japanese (Advantage but not mandatory)
