We are seeking a talented, hands-on professional to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as the Director of Operations at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on senior management professional with career goals to work in an empowered setting with a broad scope of authority.

As a Director of Operations, you will lead a team of professionals in planning and manufacturing operations of fabricating, finishing, assembling, and final preparation of products. Reporting to the President/Chief Operating Officer.

Job Requirements

  • Develop production schedules.
  • Create and maintain the Master schedule in Plex
  • Responsible and accountable for results in terms of cost, methods, quality, and quantity of production operations and personnel.
  • Maintains production schedules, quality, safety, and cost standards.
  • Expedites production activities as necessary to maintain an uninterrupted flow of production to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Investigates serious production delays, initiates remedial action, coordinates related problems with engineering, purchasing, material control, and cost.
  • Supervises the allocation of material, manpower, and equipment resources.
  • Prepares production, operating, and budget reports
  • Enforces rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Maintain positive labor relations.

Job Qualifications

  • Degreed Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineering Tech degree.
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • 10 years demonstrated success in shop operations a must.
  • Aerospace experience preferred.
  • Ability to interact with people on the floor, good team building skills, and able to work with diverse work groups.
  • A good understanding of the ERP operating systems. Plex experience a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to be “Hands-on” and roll up sleeves to work in a manufacturing environment.
