Job Title: Trainee, Business Performance Trainee
Reports to: Senior Manager, Business Performance
Job Purpose
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to our Executive Leadership Team.
Job responsibilities
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for Retail reporting across the zone.
- Prepares qualitative and quantitative reports tracking sales and critical metrics on a boutique, region, country, and sales associate level.
- Analyzes retail reporting to guide business decisions that will optimize boutique performance and support long term strategies.
- Conducts competitive analysis to understand Dior’s position in the luxury market.
- Collaborates with partnering corporate teams and boutiques to provide additional analytical support.
- Develops and evolves reporting to reflect ongoing goals and strategies.
- Assists with strategic planning initiatives for Executive meetings.
- Provides administrative support on any ad hoc analysis / projects including but not limited to markdown, sales projections, new store openings, and more.
Skills And Competencies
- Full-time, 12 Month Program
- Must be available M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Retail Math experience is a plus
- Dedicated, dynamic team player
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial and sensitive nature
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization
Additional information
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company’s medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
