YOU ARE
An experienced and passionate individual with 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications in the world of luxury, hospitality or related industries. In your function you will lead the marketing and communications team and play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the brand and drive sales growth. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of marketing and communications, both internally and externally, while supporting retail, wholesale and e-commerce business channels. Strongly interested in customers and key stakeholders, you both shape and represent the brand. Understanding customer needs, you contribute to an outstanding brand experience and client development. As a leader, you will be coaching a cross functional team constituted of a Senior Communications Manager, a Senior Project Manager and a Project Manager Trade Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
In the role of the Head of Marketing, you contribute to the brand growth in terms of image and appreciation and are responsible for all marketing initiatives in the Swiss market.
Responsibilities
You foster prospects and clients brand awareness and appreciation across all touchpoints and drive brand interaction in trade- and retail-marketing. Leading the team of 3 team members, you are responsible for the main areas as of:
- PR / Communications: Definition of local strategy and roadmap in the light of global guidelines, leading the Senior Communications Manager and PR agency
- Media: Definition of media strategy and buying across all channels
- CRM: Manage, monitor and improve customer journey across all on- and offline touchpoints
- CX / Events: Creation of outstanding experiences to drive prospect and client development
- Trade Marketing: Conception, steering and controlling of brand visibility and activation for all POS
- Partnerships: Identification of matching partnerships to drive brand appreciation / community building
- Budget: Financial planning, steering and controlling of all related marketing budgets
- Reporting: Close collaboration and exchange with IWC HQ peers including reporting on all initiatives
Qualifications
- Masters degree in marketing and communications or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing and communication roles, preferably in the luxury goods or high-end watch industry
- Passionate about the luxury and watch industry with a strong understanding of the high-end watch market, customer behaviors and industry trends
- Great ability to adapt and to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English, French as a plus
- Team player with hands-on attitude and strong interpersonal communication, project management and organizational skills
- Strong focus for excellence and details, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Up to speed in digital and performance marketing
- Strong analytical, budgeting, PowerPoint and Excel skills paired with logical mindset
