Job Description

As the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition – Field Recruiting, you’ll serve as the primary talent liaison for our retail and services teams in the western half of the US in addition to overseeing a team of Sr Recruiters. You’ll work closely with human resources and business teams to create a collaborative partnership to support the business and forecast recruiting needs while building a deep understanding of their work. You will also coach, develop, and lead a team of high performing Sr Recruiters who support work across the enterprise. To be successful in this role, you should be an expert in people leadership, recruiting processes, problem solving and stakeholder management. In addition, you need to be able to quickly develop and execute high-impact tactical and strategic initiatives.

This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. You must live in the Western half of the US to be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and work in a large, high-volume matrixed talent acquisition team environment while helping to support in the development, coaching, and engagement of a team of Sr Recruiters.
  • Partner with the business, HRBPs, and key stakeholders to proactively collaborate on upcoming initiatives and hiring needs by business.
  • Drive consistent and inclusive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting experience for assigned business teams and build scalable solutions to make meaningful impact and improvements.
  • Proactively research internal and external workforce trends, industry and competitor insights, to enable impactful decision making.
  • Full-cycle recruiting for complex and/or high visibility roles across the enterprise; including proactive sourcing and pipelining for future hiring needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • 3 or more years of experience of directly leading, coaching, and developing high-performing Talent Acquisition teams
  • 2 or more years of experience partnering, influencing and supporting senior leadership
  • Must be located in the central or western US for proximity to the business teams you will support
  • Preferred qualifications

    • 2 or more years of retail industry experience
    • 3 or more years of experience in high-volume recruiting
