About the Role:

Right now, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales Department. As the Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging net new leads to expand our customer base. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, making a significant contribution to the growth and success of the organization. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for arranging new business meetings for Account Executives that are quality and quantity driven. The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by securing new business and expanding its footprint in the targeted regions. The ideal candidate will be a mid-level associate with a track record of lead generation success in the government and SaaS sales space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Proactively identify, qualify, and peruse new leads & trials through outbound sales methodologies, utilizing a variety of channels, tools, and strategies to drive business opportunities
- Independently research and engage potential clients, demonstrating a strong understanding of Autura’s product offerings
- Continuously improve and refine sales tactics, understand market trends, and evolving best practices
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, sharing insights and findings to optimize strategies that contribute to the overall success of the organization
- Work with sales leaders to build a targeted outreach process with a focus on ABM strategy
- Outbound lead generation through calls and emailing
- Oversee and maintain the Salesforce platform, updating contacts, adeptly managing, and organizing
- Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to consistently meet and exceed deadlines and targets
- Work on one with an Account Executive within a territory of the United States.
About You:
- 2-3 + years’ experience in a Sales or other customer related position
- Proven track record of excelling in a similar role
- Prior experience in a SaaS or technology related field, strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, software development, and project management concepts
- Hunter mentality with a competitive, persistent spirit
- Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in independent work within a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
- Exhibits a positive mindset, actively contributing to building a world-class company
- Eagerness to collaborate closely with a variety of teams

For this role, the base salary range is $54,000 – $64,000 + OTE. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by several factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all team members pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
