PepsiCo’s Portfolio team is looking for a consumer centric, strategic, results-oriented Customer Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Away for Home & Small Format, you will lead a group of key customers (7-Eleven and Circle K) finding synergies between PepsiCo and customer strategies and developing breakthrough programming that drives growth. This role will have strong collaboration with brand teams, sales teams and customer teams execute against big bets for our beverage brands and be the voice of the consumer to demonstrate short term sales growth while building brands over time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the total business strategy acting as the consumer champion in strategic and Annual Operating Planning for the Small Format Channel
  • Own and lead the marketing planning process ensuring the delivery of superior consumer marketing initiatives across 7-Eleven and Circle K for B&C and FCB programming
  • Lead end-to-end integrated communications programming, from brief-to-execution working collaboratively with internal and external agency partners meet key business targets (volume, gross sales, profitability, equity).
  • Work proactively with key business partners to identify key variances affecting brand and business performance and recommend/execute actionable solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end innovation commercialization for exclusive bottle & can innovation that wins with consumers & shoppers, and support future innovation pipeline development, rooted in strong consumer insights.
  • Consistently leverage data and insights to keep the consumer at the heart all decisions, leading analysis, tracking and quarterly reporting deliverables.
  • Stay connected and work jointly with the US & Global Teams to help drive the strategic and consumer agenda for the business.
  • Be an advocate and inspirational ambassador for your brands internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business degree preferred)
  • 5+ years plus years of Brand, Customer, Insights Marketing experience
  • Possesses an intimate knowledge and understanding, along with a passion for Marketing
  • Demonstrate consumer centricity with passion and curiosity towards the consumer
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, able to work independently on projects with a bias for action
  • Ability to manage competing priorities without losing momentum
  • Solid organizational and project management skills – able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution, and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal & external partners
  • Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize information to develop understanding and insights
  • A combination of Beverage and/or CPG Industry Marketing experience considered is an asset
