Summary/Objective

This position is responsible for supporting the Corporate HR Office with all operational activities. Duties include, but not limited to, verifying and entering employee HR change, gathering appropriate documents, auditing employee data, assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing, answering calls and assisting with other projects.

Essential Functions

  • Keys data and verifies integrity of data keyed and loaded into the HRIS system.
  • Assists with verifying I-9 documents and IDs for completeness and compliance.
  • Assists with payroll processing associated with new hires and terminations such as opening timecards and calculating vacation pay out.
  • Maintains training pay schedule for new sales hires, ensuring correct amount of training for each new hire.
  • Ensures correct split allocations across locations in HRIS system based on location manager or accounting requests
  • Completes employment and unemployment wage verifications.
  • Runs time management reports and conducts checks associated with payroll processing: accruals, holidays, leaves, PTO.
  • Helps with departmental and company audits.
  • Assists with answering basic questions over the phone.
  • Assists in various departmental projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications And Licensure

  • High School Degree, or related field or equivalent level of experience, training and education.
  • Minimum of three years data entry and audit experience, experience in HR/Payroll strongly preferred.
  • Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel) preferred
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, prioritizes tasks, and exercise good judgment.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Ability to meet daily deadlines, perform tasks in a timely manner, be a self-starter and resolve issues with minimal supervision.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
