Principal Advisor Learning and Organisational Development

Permanent Full – time (37.5 hours per week)

About The Role – K?rero M? Te T?ranga

This role will lead the development of learning and development initiatives to support the achievement of the desired workplace culture, and importantly the competencies essential for successful delivery on business objectives.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will

  • Oversee and manage the development, creation, and ongoing review of e-learning courses in our Learning Management System.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives, that support our culture to enable and deliver to our strategic intentions.
  • Develop learning frameworks and pathways to support both employees and members, and work with managers to develop leaders and build the capability of their teams.
  • Conduct performance and learning needs analysis and evaluation of learning programmes and the uptake of initiatives.
  • Design, develop and lead the delivery of face-to-face and digital workshops across the organisation.
  • Be able to quickly form valuable connections with people to understand their learning and development needs and provide scalable solutions based on their requirements.

To Be Successful You Will Ideally Have

  • Provide thought-leadership to facilitate the development of learning for employees, members, and volunteers.
  • Experience in instructional design and excellent technical knowledge in Articulate 360.
  • Ability to think creatively and out of the box to meet changing needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially across senior leadership levels.
  • Experience in end-to-end programme and project management.
  • Strong intellectual and emotional intelligence, thriving on a challenge to push through barriers and recognise opportunities.
  • A positive and contributing team player and mentor, part of action and results driven team.
