Key Deliverables

  • Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual closing & reporting process and consolidation of books of accounts in accordance with INDAS.
  • Responsible for analysis of financial reports including P&L, B/S analysis and presenting to Management.
  • Responsible for Treasury, Banking Relationship & Working Capital Management .
  • Working with other departments to align financial reporting in accordance with Financial Regulations
  • Ensure tax compliances in coordination with Tax Team.
  • Lead the statutory audit, group audit, internal audit, cost audit and support tax audit process.
  • Responsible for appraising management for tax changes, reporting and other regulatory changes.
  • Responsible to maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and prevent fraud, errors, and misstatements.
  • Laisioning with the external auditors, regulators, and other authorities, and responds to their queries, requests, and findings
  • Driving, Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensuring reports adherence to regulatory requirements and collaborating with the legal team to ensure compliance
  • Presenting financial data to senior management and explaining complex financial information including Identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Responsible for INDAS and US GAPP reconciliation.
  • Responsible for managing the Trust Accounts of the Company.

Mindset And Competence

  • You are a CA with at least 12-15 years of work experience in finance and accounts function preferably in a Multinational organization.
  • You have been managing a team of 6-8 people accountants and analysts who assist in the financial reporting process
  • You have firsthand experience in leading above mentioned processes in finance, planning and accounting function with in-depth knowledge of all areas of finance incl accounting, tax, compliance, audit.
  • You have good understanding of business operations preferably from related industry/ manufacturing industry.
  • You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes
  • You can attract, develop, and support talents.
  • You have demonstrated a growth and learning mindset in yourself and supporting it in others
