We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This role is critical in ensuring a positive and compliant workplace for our diverse team, which includes a significant population of hourly employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, extensive case management experience, and a solid understanding of federal and state employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations into complex employee relations matters, including grievances, performance issues, and workplace conflicts.

• Maintain meticulous records of all cases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Provide guidance on federal and state employment laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance across the organization.

• Help develop and implement efficient internal processes and workflows for Employee Relations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and timely resolution of employee concerns and issues.

• Recommend policy updates or changes based on emerging trends or legal requirements.

• Act as the primary HR contact for the hourly employee population, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

• Develop and implement initiatives tailored to the unique needs of hourly employees.

• Partner with managers to provide training and coaching on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution, and performance management.

• Promote a culture of open communication and continuous feedback.

• Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to proactively address workplace issues.

• Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to develop strategies that improve employee satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in employee relations or as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employee relations cases, including investigations and resolution.

• Experience working with an hourly employee population in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality.

• Proficiency in HRIS and case management systems is a plus.

• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Travel:

This position requires 25+% of travel time. This includes traveling to our warehouses to conduct in-person ER interviews.

Compensation:

$75,000–$85,000 annual salary plus benefits.
