Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Staff to join our growing Robotics team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of our robotics maintenance plans. You will assist with tasks such as resolving robotics system issues, enhancement of robotics performance, data collection, reporting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive robotics maintenance and support plans.
  • Gather and organize data on robot performance, error logs, maintenance and support history, and spare parts requirements.
  • Update and maintain robotics maintenance and support documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Robotics Operations Team) and customers regarding robotics performance enhancement, maintenance & support needs.
  • Schedule and track preventative maintenance and support activities.
  • Assist Robotics Operations Team with maintenance and support procedures.
  • Prepare reports on robot performance, maintenance and support activities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors and customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Performing any other IT related duties assigned.
  • Performing after hour on-call work when necessary.
  • Support remote users problem from other locations where necessary.
  • Ensure log tickets on any users request attended and close the ticket upon issue resolved.
  • Prepare a resolution after each log tickets has been done.
  • Documenting case studies and relevant processes and procedures, and adding to the knowledge base of the organization.
  • FAQ and escalation matrix.
  • *Define Helpdesk process and support where applicable.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a Diploma in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of robotics (a plus).
  • Experience in a field site technical support or manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and TeamViewer.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
